What is the PCIBA Cash Card?

  • The PCIBA cash card is an electronic wallet! It looks just like a credit or debit card.
  • The Cash Card is used just like your debit card except that PCIBA member businesses put money into your cash card account so you don't have to!

How does the PCIBA Cash Card Work?

  • PCIBA member businesses deposit cash into your cash card  when you make purchases at participating PCIBA  members.
  • Each merchant lists (on our website) the type of Cash Card rewards they make to your card, when you shop locally at PCIBA member business.
  • You may then use that cash on your card to shop at any PCIBA member business, just as if it was a debit card.
  • Example: You have dinner at Sentrista Restaurant with 10 family members and friends.  Each one of you has a CCC Card.  Sentrista offers a $7.00 reward for the purchase of a glass of wine with each entree. Each one of you has a glass of wine with your meal. When you pay your bill in the usual manner, Sentrista takes your cash card and swipes it putting $7.00 on each persons card, totaling $70.00 in rewards!  They also print you a receipt that shows you how much is in your card and you get it back with your card. You may now use that at ANY participating PCIBA member.


The hardest part is getting the cash off your card. Why?

Here is an example: The next time you need your car repaired you go to Brewster Shell at a cost of $1000.00.  You pay your bill with your credit card and you tell Bill, the owner, to use the monies on your Cash Card as part of the payment. Bill is a PCIBA member so he takes the money off your card.  However, he also offers a $5.00 rebate with every $100 spent on repairs so..... he puts $50.00 BACK on your card! It's DARNED hard to empty your cash card when merchants keep putting money back into your account!
